Kassidy's Story

My name is Kassidy and I am 18 years old. I had a breast augmentation in December of 2002. I have to tell you that I am very pleased with the result.

I don't know why, but I was not "blessed" with large breasts. In fact, I hardly had any at all. I didn't even qualify as an AA cup! When I turned 15 I became a lifeguard and I got so depressed when 11 and 12 year old girls prissed-up there in their bathing suits, because they ALL had larger breast than I did.

Last summer I decided to save every dime I made and I told my parents that when I turned 18 I would buy some breasts, since I obviously wasn't about to grow any. They were not happy with the decision but supported me because I wanted it so badly. My goal was to have the surgery during my Christmas break. My aunts and grandmother gave me money here and there to stash and I saved change in a piggy bank my friend bought me that said, "boob job fund".

When October arrived I lacked $1000. At this time my parents decided that they would give me $1000 as an early graduation present. I can't tell you how excited I was. I did a ton of searching on the Internet. That’s when I found your very informative website. It made feel less nervous about the procedure. I also made my mother look at it.

On October 30th I met Dr. Forrest P. Wall for a consultation. I was a little nervous, but became very comfortable with him. I knew when I left that office that I wasn't going to regret it. As soon as I got home I called back to the office and scheduled my surgery for December 18th.

I continued to do research up until "Surgery Day". I didn't want to hide it. I wasn't ashamed of it. My friends were just as excited as I was. My two sisters were a bit jealous. I went into surgery at 7:00 AM that morning, and the surgery lasted not even an hour. My mom and younger sister were waiting on me when I came out. I was in a little pain but grinning. The first thing I did when I woke up was look down! I remember my sister being on the phone with my best friend when I rolled into recovery. When she saw me she literally started yelling. The swelling made them look so big and she thought that they would stay that way.

I won't lie. The pain was definitely there. I had a lot of help from my sisters and parents over the few weeks after the surgery and without them, I don’t think I could have made it. I was on so much pain medication that I don’t remember much of the days following surgery, but I do remember my visitors. My friends would come in, look under my shirt and giggle.

So anyway, here I am life-guarding again. I feel so much better about myself. I am a size 32 C now, which fits my figure just right. There was controversy about my age. I am so young to have this kind of surgery. People said they would grow after I had children, but really, I am not planning on that anytime soon. My doctor told me that I probably would not develop anymore since my breasts were so small. He said that if I was not planning on marrying soon or having children, then I was at good age for the surgery.

I highly recommend this surgery for anyone who felt like me before the enhancement. My younger sister who is 17 wants to consider this surgery, but she is a B cup and I try to persuade her not to because she has the potential to grow larger. I know that if I had as much as she does I would not have wanted the surgery but I was not fortunate enough be born with them. THANK YOU for allowing me to share my story... with a happy ending.
